Ceramic Glass Coating for Windshields in Tempe AZ | Luxury Pro Mobile Detailing

Glass Protection

Ceramic Glass Coating, Rain Rolls Right Off

This is a standalone ceramic coating for your glass, windshield, side windows, rear glass. It bonds a hydrophobic layer to the surface so water beads up and sheets off, dust and bugs wipe away easier, and your glass stays clearer between washes. Built for Arizona: monsoon downpours, brutal UV, and dust that never quits.

Why Glass Needs It Here

Made for Monsoon Season

If you've driven through an Arizona monsoon, you know: the rain doesn't drizzle, it dumps. Sheets of water, zero visibility, wipers on full blast barely keeping up. A hydrophobic glass coating changes that, water beads tight and blows off at speed, so you can actually see the road. It's the single biggest visibility upgrade you can do for storm season.

The rest of the year, it's about maintenance. UV bakes water spots and mineral deposits into unprotected glass. Highway bugs weld themselves to the windshield. Dust films over everything within a day of washing. A coated windshield sheds all of that faster, bugs wipe off instead of scrubbing off, water spots don't etch in as easily, and the glass just stays clearer.

One clarification: this is glass-only. It's not our paint ceramic coating, that protects your paint for years. This protects your windshield and windows. Different product, different job, same idea: make the surface work for you instead of against you. We're fully mobile, we bring our own water and power, serving Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, and Gilbert.

Pricing

Starting at $120 as a standalone service. Most of the time, though, we coat glass as part of a full ceramic coating, that's when it makes the most sense. Windshield-only is the popular option; full glass costs more. Call or book online and we'll quote it flat before we start.

Pairs Well With

Coated glass plus headlight restoration is the complete visibility package, see better in every direction, day and night. And if you want the same hydrophobic idea on your paint, that's our ceramic coating. See all targeted upgrades on our add-ons page.

Who It's For

Monsoon-season drivers who are tired of white-knuckling it through downpours. Highway commuters who spend every weekend scrubbing bugs off the windshield. Night drivers who want every bit of clarity they can get. And anyone who just washed their car and watched dust film the glass by morning, this is for you.

Glass Coating Questions

Is this the same as your paint ceramic coating?

No, this is glass-only. Our ceramic coating service protects your paint for years. This service coats your windshield and windows with a hydrophobic layer. Different product, different surface, same idea.

How long does the coating last?

Typically 6 to 12 months on a daily driver. Wiper use wears it down fastest, and Arizona sun doesn't help, but even as it gradually wears, the glass stays easier to clean than uncoated glass.

Does it actually help in monsoon rain?

Yes, this is where it shines. Water beads tight and sheets off at driving speed, which means dramatically better visibility in heavy rain. It's the reason most people book this service.

Will it stop water spots?

It makes a real difference. The hydrophobic layer means water doesn't sit and evaporate on the glass the same way, so mineral deposits have a harder time bonding. It won't make hard water harmless, nothing does, but spots wipe off instead of etching in.

Can you coat just the windshield?

Absolutely, windshield-only is the most popular option. But we can do all the glass (side windows, rear glass) if you want the full treatment. Your call.

Do you come to me?

Yes, home, office, anywhere in Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, or Gilbert. We bring our own water and power.

Will the coating make my wipers chatter or skip?

Not if the glass is prepped right, and prep is most of this job. Chattering usually happens when a coating goes over contaminated glass, or when the wiper blades are already worn out. We deep-clean and decontaminate the glass first, and we check your blades before we coat; if they're shot, we'll tell you to replace them. With good blades and proper prep, wipers glide smoother than before.

My paint already has a ceramic coating, isn't the glass covered?

No, paint coatings and glass coatings are different products. Some detailers run the paint coating over the glass as a shortcut, but glass-specific coatings are formulated for the heat, wiper abrasion, and water exposure a windshield deals with. If your car was coated elsewhere and you're not sure the glass was done properly, we can assess it and coat it right.

The Process

How Glass Gets Coated

Clean

Every window gets washed and stripped of old wax, residue, and grime, the coating can only bond to truly clean glass.

Decontaminate

Bonded contaminants, water spots, and mineral deposits come off. Arizona hard water is stubborn; we're more stubborn.

Prep

Glass gets machine-polished where needed for maximum clarity, then wiped down so the surface is perfectly ready to bond.

Coat

The ceramic coating is applied panel by panel, windshield, then side and rear glass if you chose full coverage.

Cure

The coating cures and we do a final inspection, water behavior checked, wipers checked, clarity confirmed.
