What a Reset Actually Is
A reset is exactly what it sounds like: we take your car back to zero. Not "cleaner." Zero, the way it looked, felt, and smelled the day you drove it off the lot.
Here's why Arizona cars need it more than anywhere else. Dust storms roll through the Valley and coat everything in fine silt that works its way into every fiber and crevice. Summer heat hits 115 and bakes coffee spills, kid messes, and mystery stains straight into your seats. Hard water spots etch into glass and paint. Your dashboard sits in an oven for months, drying out and fading. A regular wash doesn't touch any of that, it just makes the outside shiny for a week.
Most cars we reset haven't had a real detail in years. Some have never had one. There's a layer of grime in there you stopped noticing a long time ago, in the seat seams, under the mats, in the cupholders, baked onto the paint. The Reset exists to go after all of it in one shot: deep interior restoration, hot-water extraction, leather brought back to life, paint decontaminated and sealed. One appointment, four to five hours, and you get a car that feels new again.
Think of it this way: a car wash is sweeping your house. A Reset is renovating it.
What Happens When We Show Up
No shop, no waiting room, no dropping your car off for two days. We come to your home or office anywhere in Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, or Gilbert, with our own water, our own power, and everything else. Here's exactly how the four to five hours go:
1. Walkaround & Game Plan
We look over the car with you, stains, problem areas, the stuff that's been bugging you. We tell you straight what'll come out and what won't before we start. No surprises later.
2. Wheels, Foam Bath & Hand Wash
Wheels, tires, and wheel wells first. Then a thick foam bath loosens the desert dust sitting on your paint, followed by a careful two-bucket hand wash. We never drag dirt across your paint.
3. Clay Bar Decontamination
Run your hand over your hood, feels rough, right? That's embedded contamination: rail dust, brake dust, industrial fallout bonded to the paint. A clay bar pulls it all out until the paint feels like glass.
4. Interior Teardown & Deep Vacuum
Mats come out. Seats slide forward and back. Every compartment gets emptied and vacuumed, every crevice, seam, and vent gets hit. This is where years of crumbs, dust, and lost french fries come out.
5. Hot-Water Extraction Shampoo
The heavy hitter. Heated cleaning solution goes deep into your seats, carpets, and mats, then gets extracted right back out, pulling years of ground-in dirt, stains, and allergens with it. You'll see the water. It's humbling.
6. Leather, Steam & Details
Leather gets deep-cleaned and conditioned so it feels soft again instead of dry and cracked. Steam hits the dash, console, door panels, and vents. Glass gets cleaned streak-free, inside and out. Trim gets dressed.
7. Ceramic Sealant & Final Walk
We lock in the exterior with a ceramic sealant for months of gloss and protection against the Arizona sun. Then we walk the whole car with you before we call it done. If something's not right, we fix it on the spot.
You don't need to stick around for any of this. Go to work, run your errands, we'll text you when it's done.
Who the Reset Is For
Arizona is brutal on cars. Dust settles into every crevice, the sun bakes dashboards and fades trim, and interiors collect a year of real life, coffee spills, kid crumbs, pet hair, mystery stains. The Luxury Reset is built for exactly that: a top-to-bottom restoration that takes your car back to the day you drove it off the lot.
Most of our Reset customers are people who love their car but haven't had time for it. Maybe it's been a year or more since a real detail, or maybe it's never had one. Either way, you hand us the keys in the morning and walk out to a car that looks, feels, and smells new. Plan on about 4–5 hours depending on vehicle size, and no, you don't need to stick around. We'll text you when it's done.
Reset vs. Refresh, Which One?
Simple rule: if your seats or carpets have stains, or your leather feels dry or looks dull, get the Reset, it's the only package with hot-water extraction shampoo and leather conditioning. If the interior is already in good shape and you mostly want that deep-cleaned, glossy, like-new feeling, the Luxury Refresh gets you there for less.

Why the Reset Costs What It Costs
Let's address it head-on: $347 is more than a $25 drive-through wash. Here's what you're actually paying for, four to five hours of skilled, hands-on labor from a specialist who comes to your driveway with a van full of professional equipment, their own water, and their own power.
A conveyor car wash gives your car about eight minutes. Eight minutes can't extract shampoo from seats, condition leather, or clay-bar paint, it just doesn't. What the cheap options skip is exactly what makes the Reset work: the hot-water extraction, the leather restoration, the decontamination, the sealant. That's the difference between "looks clean from ten feet" and "feels brand new from the driver's seat."
And here's the math that matters: a Reset every year or two, plus basic upkeep in between, keeps your car looking sharp and protects its resale value. A car with a clean, conditioned interior and glossy, sealed paint sells faster and for more money than the same car looking tired. The Reset pays for itself the day you sell or trade in.
We stand behind the work 100%. If something isn't right, we make it right. That's the whole business model.

Reset Questions
Is my car too far gone for a Reset?
Probably not. We've reset cars with years of kid messes, work-truck grime, pet hair, and stains the owner had given up on. During the walkaround we'll tell you straight what will come out and what won't, some things (bleach marks, torn fabric, paint damage) are beyond any detail. But "filthy" is not "too far gone." Filthy is our favorite starting point.
How is this different from a $30 car wash?
A car wash cleans the surface. A Reset restores the car. The wash gives you eight minutes on a conveyor belt; we give you four to five hours of hands-on work, hot-water extraction pulling grime out of your seats, leather deep-cleaned and conditioned, paint clay-barred smooth and sealed. Nothing about those two things is comparable except that they both involve a car.
How long will the results last?
The interior restoration lasts, extraction doesn't "wear off." How long it stays clean depends on how you use the car, but most customers get 6–12 months of that fresh feeling with basic upkeep. The ceramic sealant on the paint gives you months of gloss and protection against the Arizona sun. Want it to last longer? Ask us about maintenance plans after your Reset.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. Most customers hand us the keys and go about their day, work, errands, whatever. We text you when we're done and walk the car with you (in person or over photos) before we leave. You just need to be reachable in case we have a question.
I live in an apartment or condo with no driveway. Can you still do it?
Usually, yes. We bring our own water and power, so we don't need your hookups, we just need access to the car and enough space to work around it. A parking spot, a carport, a visitor space at your complex, all fine. If your complex has rules about vendors, check with them first and let us know.
Will the stains actually come out?
Most of them, yes. Hot-water extraction pulls out an absurd amount of staining, coffee, food, kid messes, general grime. Some stains are permanent (bleach, dye transfer, burns), and we'll tell you which is which during the walkaround before we start. We don't promise miracles; we promise honesty and the deepest clean your interior can take.
Is extraction safe for my seats and carpets?
Yes. We use professional-grade equipment with controlled heat and moisture, enough to deep-clean, not enough to soak or damage. Fabric seats, carpets, and floor mats all handle it well. Leather gets a different treatment (cleaned and conditioned, not extracted), and delicate materials get handled accordingly. We've done this on brand-new cars and 20-year-old daily drivers.
What about pet hair?
The Reset includes a thorough vacuum, but pet hair woven deep into fabric is its own job, that's why we offer pet hair removal ($79) as an add-on. If excessive pet hair is found on arrival, a pet hair removal fee applies in person, we'll always tell you before we start, never after.
Do you really bring your own water and power?
Yes, fully self-contained. Our van carries its own water supply and power, so we don't need your hose, your outlets, or anything else. That's what makes us truly mobile: your driveway in Tempe, your office lot in Scottsdale, your garage in Mesa, anywhere the car is, we can work.
How often should I get a Reset?
For most people, once a year is the sweet spot, it undoes twelve months of Arizona dust, sun, and real life. After your Reset, the smart move is keeping it up with periodic maintenance details so it never gets that far gone again. Ask us about maintenance plans when we finish, they're built for exactly that.
